Built for U.S. Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage

Commercial facilities across North America increasingly require energy storage for more than emergency backup. Electricity demand management, peak shaving, renewable energy integration and EV charging can all create different requirements for storage capacity, power and system control.

The 125kW/261.2kWh liquid-cooled C&I battery system provides a modular platform that can be deployed as a single cabinet or expanded into a multi-cabinet installation according to site requirements.

Typical applications include:

  • Factories and manufacturing facilities
  • Commercial buildings
  • Shopping centers
  • Data centers
  • EV charging stations
  • Hospitals
  • Solar PV projects
  • Wind energy projects
  • Microgrids
  • Commercial backup power

Peak Shaving and Load Optimization

The system can store energy during lower-demand periods and discharge when facility demand increases, supporting peak shaving and valley filling strategies.

For commercial and industrial facilities with changing load profiles, energy storage can also be incorporated into broader load optimization and power regulation strategies.

261kWh to 1.3MWh Modular Expansion

Projects do not always need to begin at megawatt-hour scale.

A single cabinet provides 261.2kWh of energy storage. For larger C&I sites, the architecture supports typical configurations of:

  • 1 Cabinet — 125kW / 261.2kWh
  • 2 Cabinets — 522.4kWh
  • 3 Cabinets — 783.6kWh
  • 4 Cabinets — 1,044.8kWh
  • 5 Cabinets — 1,306kWh

This modular approach allows project developers to select a configuration based on facility loads and project requirements.

For systems using more than three cabinets in parallel, an AC combiner cabinet should be considered as part of the project design.

AC-Coupled Energy Storage Architecture

The U.S. version uses an AC-coupled architecture, making it suitable for projects where battery storage needs to be integrated with existing or separately designed generation and electrical infrastructure.

The system architecture can incorporate the utility grid, EMS, PV generation, wind power, EV charging infrastructure and C&I loads.

This provides flexibility for both standalone commercial energy storage deployments and renewable energy projects where multiple energy sources need to be coordinated.

High-Voltage 314Ah LiFePO₄ Battery

The battery side uses 314Ah LFP cells in a 260S1P configuration, providing:

Rated Energy: 261.2kWh
Rated Voltage: 832V
Voltage Range: 728–936V
Charge/Discharge Rate: ≤0.5P (157A)

The system is specified for 10,000 cycles at 25°C, 0.5C/0.5C, 90% depth of discharge and 80% end-of-life capacity.

Liquid Cooling for Long-Term C&I Operation

Commercial battery systems may experience frequent cycling and changing power demands throughout the day.

Liquid cooling provides active thermal management for the battery system, helping maintain controlled operating conditions during charging and discharging.

Combined with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C, the system is designed for demanding commercial and industrial energy storage environments.

Smart Communication & Energy Management

CAN, Ethernet and RS485 communication interfaces allow the battery storage system to communicate with compatible control and energy management equipment.

The system architecture supports integration with cloud and EMS platforms for coordinated operation between battery storage, grid power, renewable generation and site loads.
